Indian Government cleared the 1st batch of projects under AMRUT


Government clears first batch of AMRUT projects for 89 citiesworth Rs 2,786cr.The Ministry of Urban Development has approved the first batch of state level Action Plans under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT).These plans were aimed at enabling water supply as per the norm and providing water supply and sewerage connections to all urban households.

Indian mountaineers climbed an untouched mountain peak

Indian Mountaineers Arjun Vajpai and Bhupesh Kumar climbed an untouched mountain peak in third week of october 2015 created history by becoming first people to climb 6180meter high unnamed peak in spiti valley,near bara shigri glacier,himachal pradesh.Bara-shigri glacier is the second longest glacier in Himalaya after Gangotri both are around 30km.The duo named as ‘Mount Kalam’.in honour of former President of india,Dr.Abdul kalam.Earlier in 2010, Arjun Vajpai became youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest (16 years). He scaled 17 peaks in India.

China’s Confucius peace prize 2015




Robert Mugabe, the Zimbabwean President gets China’s Confucius peace prize dubbed China’s Nobel peace prize, for supposedly “injecting fresh energy” into the global quest for harmony. 
Mr. Mugabe, who has been accused of using systematic violence and torture to maintain his 35-year grip on power, recently became the latest recipient of China’s Confucius peace prize.
The Beijing-run Global Times newspaper said 91-year-old Mugabe had beaten off competition from candidates including the Microsoft founder, Bill Gates, and the South Korean president, Park Geun-hye.
