International Anti-Corruption Day is being observed on December 09 under the auspices of United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to raise awareness about corruption across the world. Corruption is a serious offense that can undermine social and economic development in society. Theme of the day is "Break the Corruption Chain". International Anti-Corruption Day to raise awareness against corruption and for the role of the convention in combating and preventing it.
