Tianhe-2



China’s Tianhe-2 supercomputer has emerged as the world’s most powerful supercomputer system for the sixth consecutive time. Chinese Supercomputer is capable of performing calculations with processing speed of 33.86 petaflops per second (Pflop/s).
Supercomputer Titan of the US Department of Energy has been placed at second position. It has a performance of 17.59 Pflop/s. 


2015 Sultan of Johor Cup of Hockey

Great Britain won the 2015 Sultan of Johor Cup under-21 field hockey tournament by defeating defending champions India.Sumit Kumar and Harmanpreet Singh of India with three goals each have been the top scorers in the tournament for the country.Match played at Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Established in 2011 and named after the Sultan of Johor, a ceremonial hereditary seat and title of the nominal ruler of the Malaysian state of Johor. The tournament held annually in Malaysia and it is the only invitational junior hockey competition played at international level.

India’s ambassador to China



Senior diplomat Vijay Keshav Gokhale has been appointed as India’s Ambassador to China.Mr.Gokhale currently serving as the India’s Ambassador to Germany. He is a 1981 batch India Foreign Service (IFS) officer.Mr. Gokhale has also held the posts of director (China and East Asia) and then Joint Secretary (East Asia) and is known to be one of the most knowledgeable officials, who is well-versed with China affairs.
