DG of National Centre for Good Governance

Economist and former IAS officer Gyanendra D Bandgaiyan was appointed Director General of National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), a think tank on good governance reform.Bandgaiyan, ex-chief economist of United Nations Development Programme, has been appointed for a period of three years.His appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

1st edition of PWL 2015

Revanta Mumbai Garuda won the 1st edition of Pro Wrestling League (PWL) on 27th December 2015 in the event held in Delhi. Narsingh Yadav of Bengaluru Yodhas awarded with Man Wrestler of the Series while Odunayo Adekuoroye of Revanta Mumbai Garuda awarded with Woman Wrestler of the Series.

1st woman COO of Big 4 in India

Berera, currently the regional managing partner for north at PwC India, will take charge as Chief Operating Officer (COO)  on January 1, 2016, becoming second only to chairman Deepak Kapoor in hierarchy. Berera will replace Neil Wilson, who is moving to London as global operations partner with PwC.Big 4 are the four largest international professional services networks known as ‘Big 4’.
