Malaysia Masters Grand Prix 2016

World Championship bronze-medallist, India's P V Sindhu clinched the Malaysia Masters Grand Prix Gold title on 24 january 2016.

Women’s doubles category: Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi from Japan.

Mixed doubles category      :Zheng Siwei and Li Yinhui from China.

Men’s singles category       :Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia.

Men’s doubles category     :Markus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo from                                                   Indonesia.                     

About Grand Prix Gold Title:

The 2016 Malaysia Masters Grand Prix Gold was the first grand prix's badminton tournament of the 2016 BWF Grand Prix and Grand Prix Gold. The tournament was held at the SPICE Indoor Stadium in Penang, Malaysia from 19–24 January 2016 and had a total purse of $120,000.
