Over 4.5 acres of
agriculture land in the Cauvery delta are set to benefit from Rs1560Cr project to upgrade irrigation canals. The ADB has approved Rs.1092Cr loan to this
project. The Tamilnadu state government will bring in Rs.468Cr.
