Economist and former IAS officer Gyanendra D Bandgaiyan was appointed Director General of National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG), a think tank on good governance reform.Bandgaiyan, ex-chief economist of United Nations Development Programme, has been appointed for a period of three years.His appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
